Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial resumed Wednesday with emotional testimony from fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, who alleged that the music mogul physically assaulted her during a 2016 incident at a high-rise condo.
Bongolan, a close friend of singer Cassie Ventura, testified that she was staying at Cassie's apartment when Diddy allegedly attacked her without warning. "He basically came up from behind me. He lifted me up and hung me off the rail," she said, describing the terrifying moment.
Fearing for her life, Bongolan said she struggled to pull herself back over the balcony ledge as Diddy shouted, "You know what the f*** you did!" She told the court that after bringing her back onto the balcony, Diddy threw her into patio furniture, causing bruises to her leg.
Bongolan says she still doesn't know why Diddy attacked her that day, but she now suffers night terrors and paranoia as a result of the incident.
During her testimony, she also recalled a chilling statement Diddy allegedly made to her at another time: “I’m the devil and I could kill you.”
Bongolan has filed a separate civil lawsuit against Diddy related to the alleged incident, seeking $10 million in damages. Diddy has publicly denied the claims.
