Ray J has been a vocal supporter of Sean “Diddy” Combs throughout the music mogul’s ongoing legal troubles. However, that loyalty was recently called into question after Suge Knight made a shocking claim about Ray J’s relationship with Diddy.
During an interview with Piers Morgan, the incarcerated Death Row Records co-founder stated bluntly, “Ray J and Puffy were definitely lovers.” When asked if this was common knowledge, Suge doubled down: “Of course.”
The comment quickly sparked a reaction from Ray J, who didn’t hold back during a recent livestream. Clearly angered by Suge’s accusation, the singer and entrepreneur called it a low blow.
“Now Suge is trying to say that me and Puffy are lovers? Really, bro? That’s how low you want to go, Suge?” Ray J said. “Ray J and Puffy are lovers?”
He continued, “Suge is disappointing me. He’s showing me that he’s a complete c***. I never thought I’d say that, because I’ve always had Suge’s back — and I don’t mean his a**. Unbelievable. For you to showcase how dirty and dark you are, when I’ve supported you even through the dark times…”
The war of words marks a surprising shift in tone between the two, who were previously thought to be on good terms. As Diddy’s legal battle continues to draw attention, it seems the controversy surrounding his supporters is escalating just as fast.
