Disturbing footage has surfaced online showing the moment rapper Tory Lanez was brutally stabbed 14 times while incarcerated.
The video was obtained by The Shade Room and captures Lanez struggling on the ground as fellow inmate Santino Casio repeatedly strikes him. According to reports, Lanez sustained seven stab wounds to the back, four to the torso, two to the back of the head, and one across the face.
Photos accompanying the footage show Lanez upright and walking, visibly covered in blood. He was later airlifted to a nearby hospital, where his team reported that he suffered two collapsed lungs as a result of the attack.
Following the incident, Casio was placed in restricted housing pending an internal investigation. He later claimed to TMZ that the stabbing was an act of self-defense, alleging that Lanez had flashed a weapon at him while passing by his cell.
Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence in connection with the 2020 shooting of rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
