Rumors ran wild on Monday (May 26) after reports circulated that Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders dropped nearly $500,000 on a custom olive green Rolls-Royce shortly after signing with the team.

The speculation stemmed from a video posted to YouTube on Sunday by his half-brother, Deion Sanders Jr., which showed a luxury car hauler delivering the vehicle to the Sanders estate in Texas.

Adding fuel to the fire, the NFL news page @NFLNotify claimed the lavish car belonged to Shedeur—who recently received a $447,000 signing bonus as part of his rookie contract. However, the 22-year-old quarterback was quick to shut down the chatter.

"Another lie… I'm focused on my team not a car purchase!" Shedeur wrote on X (formerly Twitter), signaling that he’s not letting the distraction take away from his NFL debut.

Even Coach Prime—Shedeur’s father, NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders—jumped into the conversation, replying to the rumors with a blunt "LIES!" Still, neither Deion nor Shedeur clarified who the car was actually for, leaving social media to fill in the blanks with speculation.
