Lizzo is continuing to inspire fans with her health and wellness journey, which she often shares on social media—but don’t expect her to reveal how much weight she’s lost anytime soon.
During a recent appearance on The Jason Lee Show, the Grammy-winning artist was asked if she’d be willing to share the exact number behind her transformation. Lizzo laughed off the question, telling Jason, “You’re crazy,” before explaining her decision to keep that detail private.
“I don’t want people to clock my tea,” she said. “If I said the number, I don’t think people could do the math.”
The conversation quickly turned into a broader reflection on body image and public perception. Lizzo questioned the fixation on numbers, asking, “Why are y’all putting a number on me?”
She went on to express frustration over the pressure to quantify her progress. “It kind of annoys me, so part of me is like—should I say the number to dead it? Or should I leave it a mystery?” she said. “I think bullying fat people is the only socially acceptable form of bullying.”
Known for championing body positivity and self-love, Lizzo’s comments struck a chord with fans who applauded her decision to focus on how she feels, rather than a number on the scale.
