Famed comedian HaHa Davis, known for his viral social media skits and comedic catchphrases, was arrested on domestic violence charges in Utica, Michigan, on Friday, May 23.

Davis, whose real name is Carlos Davis, was booked into Macomb County Jail and later released after posting a $5,000 bond. Details regarding the alleged incident have not been made public, and Davis has yet to issue a statement addressing the arrest.

The Detroit native is currently on tour and was slated to appear in the “We Them Ones” comedy show, hosted by Mike Epps, on the same day of his arrest. The lineup for the tour also includes well-known comedians Lil Duval, Kountry Wayne, and DC Young Fly.
