Kid Cudi’s recent testimony in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal sex trafficking trial has stirred strong reactions across the entertainment world. Among those speaking out is rapper Young Thug, who took to social media to label Cudi a “rat” for his involvement in the proceedings.

Now, Kanye West—who has a long and complicated history with both Diddy and Cudi—is adding his voice to the mix. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ye expressed disappointment over Cudi’s decision to testify.

“I wish Cudi hadn’t testified against Puff,” Ye wrote. “We need not to be locked in white systems.”

He followed up with a message of support: “Praying for Puff and his family. Praying for Puff Daddy and the Family.”

Kanye’s comments don’t come as a surprise. He has been an outspoken supporter of Diddy since the music mogul’s legal troubles began. Earlier this year, Ye posted audio of a phone call between him and Diddy, in which Diddy thanked him for being there for his children during a difficult time.

“I just want to thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man,” Diddy said on the call. “Ain’t nobody reach out to them, ain’t nobody call… That meant so much, that you reached out to them and took them under your wing.”
