As Diddy's ongoing federal trial continues to make headlines, Meek Mill has taken to social media to address lingering rumors tying him to a lawsuit filed by Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones Jr. against the Bad Boy founder.
When Lil Rod initially filed his explosive lawsuit, speculation swirled online that Meek Mill was the unnamed rapper listed as "redacted" in the documents. On Tuesday (May 21), Meek broke his silence on X (formerly Twitter), denying any involvement and criticizing the way his name was dragged into the narrative.
"In the midst of Diddy on [a] federal trial, I wanna bring back up ‘Lil Rod’ and his lawsuit that was dropped,” Meek wrote. “He never said my name, but these blogs amplified that whole agenda against me. My culture don't believe it, but it's an attack on my brand. I wanna get to the bottom of it!"
Meek also weighed in on Diddy’s infamous party scene, stating he had never witnessed anything out of the ordinary beyond what he called “coke vibes,” which he claimed are common across elite entertainment gatherings.
“Just to put that on public record... the craziest thing I seen at a Puff party is ‘coke vibes’ — and that’s going on at all these parties. I’m from North Philly. I had millions since I was 23! I don’t even wanna be addicted to weed! Not judging, but I see it different," he added.
In a lighter moment, Meek addressed a viral throwback photo of himself and Diddy wearing matching Gucci outfits at Coachella. “When I ran into Puff, I was salty we had on the same thing,” he wrote. “But sh*t wasn’t nothing to a KING."
