Cassie concluded her testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs' federal trial on Friday (May 16), where she disclosed that she recently reached a $10 million settlement with the InterContinental Hotel in Century City — the location where Diddy was caught on surveillance video assaulting her.
Under cross-examination by the defense, Cassie confirmed that the settlement had been finalized within the past month. The agreement with the hotel is separate from the $20 million settlement she reached with Combs in November 2023, shortly after filing a civil lawsuit accusing him of abuse and assault.
Earlier in the week, Israel Florez, a security guard at the InterContinental, took the stand and testified about the 2016 incident. Florez admitted to recording the surveillance footage of the assault on his personal cellphone but said he did not report it to law enforcement. He testified that after the attack, he asked Cassie if she wanted to involve the police, but she told him she "just wanted to leave."
Florez also revealed that he showed the footage to other hotel staff members, none of whom reported the incident either.
Cassie’s testimony, along with the video evidence and supporting witnesses, has become a key element in the high-profile trial as allegations against Combs continue to mount.
