50 Cent, known for trolling fellow celebrities on Instagram, took a more serious tone when reacting to Chris Brown’s recent arrest in the UK.
After news broke that Brown had been denied bail in connection with an assault case, 50 shared his reaction on Instagram, writing, “Damn they doing CB dirty, they knew about this case for 2 years. This is gonna f*** up the whole tour. WTF going on!”
Brown was arrested earlier this week for allegedly assaulting music producer Abe Diaw in a London nightclub. According to prosecutors, Brown struck Diaw with a bottle "several times," chased him through the venue, and continued the attack by punching and kicking him.
Prosecutor Hannah Nicholls told the court that the alleged 2023 incident was caught on CCTV and occurred in a nightclub “full of people.”
District Judge Joanne Hirst ruled that the charges — which include grievous bodily harm — are too serious for a magistrates’ court and transferred the case to a crown court. As a result, Brown’s bail was denied, and he will remain in custody until his next court appearance, scheduled for June 13.
The arrest could have major implications for Brown’s ongoing tour plans, prompting concern from fans and peers like 50 Cent.
