Soulja Boy is not staying silent following allegations that YouTuber and rapper DDG was abusive toward actress and singer Halle Bailey. The rapper took to social media on Wednesday (May 14) to publicly threaten DDG after news surfaced that Bailey had been granted a temporary restraining order against him.
In a heated tweet, Soulja Boy called out DDG, writing, “You a b**** a** n**** for putting yo hands on Halle lil n**** @PontiacMadeDDG. If I catch u I'm beating the f*** out u.”
The comment comes amid serious allegations made by Bailey, who filed for a restraining order to protect herself and her infant son, Halo. In her court filing, Bailey alleged that DDG had been abusive toward her since January. One disturbing incident reportedly occurred while she and her son were recovering from RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), during which she claims DDG damaged her Ring security camera and threatened to take their child.
Bailey also submitted photo evidence showing bruises on her arm and a chipped tooth, which she says were the result of physical abuse inflicted by DDG.
The court granted Bailey an ex parte restraining order—a legal measure issued without the presence or input of the accused—citing concerns that notifying DDG in advance could lead to further violence or interference.
“I am fearful that the violence would reoccur when I gave notice that I was asking for these orders,” Bailey stated in the filing. “I am also afraid the other party would take the children out of the area before the order could be granted and served.”
As of now, DDG has not publicly responded to the allegations. Legal proceedings are ongoing.
