Katt Williams proved he’s still got game on the basketball court after linking up with renowned NBA shooting coach Chris "Lethal Shooter" Matthews for a training session.

Matthews shared highlights from their workout on Instagram, praising the comedian's skills and work ethic.
"Katt Williams trained for two hours straight, he’s OFFICIALLY A LETHAL SHOOTER… and it’s true, he’s as fast as he says he is 😂😂😂😂. He understands it now. Living legend," Matthews wrote.

The training session comes on the heels of Katt’s bold claim that he had a hand in shaping NBA superstar Steph Curry’s legendary shooting form. During an appearance on the Good One podcast in late 2024, Williams said:
"Anybody that knows me knows I don't claim s*** I do. But I am responsible for the greatest shooter in the NBA, without question."

Williams explained that Curry had participated in a few celebrity basketball games he had organized early on. That’s when he says he spotted Curry’s potential and offered key advice.
"I told him, 'If you can shoot before people can start defense, you'll be the greatest shooter that ever lived.'”

He added with a wink, "Now, I'm not saying he [Curry] took that advice and went on to do that... but he took my advice and went on to do that, so..."
