Newly surfaced bodycam footage shows federal agents raiding the Utah home of rapper NBA YoungBoy in 2024, where he had been serving house arrest. The video captures the moment authorities placed the rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, in handcuffs while executing a search warrant. According to the Cache County Sheriff’s Office, the raid was part of an ongoing investigation into alleged criminal conduct involving fraudulent prescriptions.
Following the raid, Gaulden was charged with multiple felonies in connection with a prescription drug fraud scheme. Court records show he later accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to two counts of third-degree felony identity fraud, two counts of third-degree felony forgery, and six counts of misdemeanor unlawful pharmacy conduct. As part of the plea agreement, the felony charges were reduced to Class A misdemeanors, and Gaulden was ordered to pay a $25,000 fine.
In addition to the state charges, Gaulden faced federal prosecution in a related case out of Weber County. He was ultimately sentenced to 27 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to federal firearms and fraud-related offenses connected to the broader investigation.
