One of the five individuals charged in connection with the 2024 murder of Jacksonville rapper Foolio is publicly proclaiming his innocence, claiming authorities have arrested the wrong people.
Davion Murphy, Isaiah Chance, Sean Gathright, Rashad Murphy, and Alicia Andrews have all been taken into custody and are facing charges including first-degree murder. However, Isaiah Chance has taken to Instagram to declare that he and the others are being wrongfully accused.
In a series of posts, Chance criticized the investigation, writing, "They found out the rappers they thought were involved weren't involved. They can’t identify or don’t know who any of the shooters are, don’t have any of the murder weapons. No shell casings, no footage of the shooters getting out of the car."
Chance went on to claim that the vehicle allegedly used in the crime was only seen in the vicinity of their already-reserved Airbnb. "Still, we’re sitting here. This is wrong. Y’all got the wrong people — this is illegal. This is like being kidnapped. We're missing the holidays and time away from our family and loved ones — for what?" he continued.
In a follow-up post, Chance remained hopeful: "Thank God this is almost over with, and thank you to everybody who got and is still getting interviewed and keeping it real. Y’all and the evidence clearly show we weren’t involved. I don’t know why they keep trying to force it."
Despite Chance’s claims, all five suspects remain charged and are awaiting further legal proceedings.
