A judge has ruled that rapper The Game must sell his Calabasas home to help satisfy a $7 million judgment awarded to Priscilla Rainey, a woman who accused him of sexual assault.

Rainey filed a lawsuit against The Game in 2015, claiming he assaulted her during the filming of his VH1 reality dating show, She’s Got Game. After the rapper failed to appear in court for the trial, a default judgment was issued in her favor in 2016, totaling just over $7 million.

Following The Game’s refusal to pay, Rainey suggested the sale of his Calabasas property. The rapper responded by claiming the home is legally owned by JTT Holdings, not him personally. However, the court determined that JTT Holdings is a shell company used to shield his assets, clearing the way for the property to be seized and sold.

Despite being ordered to pay, The Game has publicly resisted the judgment. In a prior ruling, a judge allowed Rainey to collect funds directly from the rapper’s music royalties, resulting in nearly $400,000 recovered so far.

The Game previously addressed the case on Instagram in 2016, denying the allegations and calling the lawsuit “lame.” He wrote, “Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines… this broad ain’t gettin’ s***! Every girl on that show will tell you I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her.” He also claimed Rainey was removed from the show and filed the lawsuit out of retaliation.

With the court now approving the forced sale of his property, Rainey is positioned to recover a larger portion of the judgment.
