600 Breezy discussed the punishment disparities in legal systems, using Tory Lanez’s case as an example. Lanez was involved in a high-profile legal battle after allegedly shooting fellow artist Megan Thee Stallion. He was charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm, among other offenses, and eventually sentenced to 10 years in prison in California. 600 Breezy highlighted the differences in sentencing standards across states, suggesting that if the incident had occurred in Chicago, Lanez’s consequences would have been far less severe. According to Breezy, Lanez might have faced a maximum of four years in prison, with a possibility of serving only part of that sentence behind bars and the remainder on probation.
