Future turned heads at the 2025 Met Gala, stepping out with a dramatic new look after cutting off his signature dreads and debuting short, bleached-blonde hair.
The "Mask Off" rapper was among the many stars attending this year's event, which celebrated Black fashion with the theme "Tailoring Black Style." This year’s gala was co-chaired by Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and longtime Met Gala fixture, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
While LeBron James had been named an honorary chair for the evening, he announced just hours before the event that he would not be attending. Sharing the news on Twitter, James wrote, “Unfortunately, because of my knee injury I sustained at the end of the season, I won’t be able to attend the Met Gala in NY tonight as so many people have been asking and congratulating me on! Hate to miss a historical event!"
