TMZ recently caught up with BMF star Lil Meech, asking for his thoughts on 50 Cent’s claim that he sent him to rehab after catching him doing whippets on the set of the hit Starz series.

Lil Meech seemed to brush off the controversy, joking to cameras, "Where I’m from, everybody needs rehab."

His comment didn’t go unnoticed. 50 Cent took to Instagram to clown his young star, writing, "He from private school, never been in the street. MeMe gotta stop using the drugs, it’s too dangerous out here! HE MUST DIDN’T HEAR THEM SAY CUT."

The back-and-forth comes after 50 previously aired out Meech’s alleged off-screen behavior, claiming the actor blew through his money on designer clothes and drugs. "I’m telling MeMe I don’t want him doing drugs. [His father, Big Meech] telling him he used to do X like it’s cool. I tell MeMe chill, stop spending all ya money, he telling him how much money he blew. People don’t know I had to send MeMe to rehab."

50 also detailed the moment he says the situation came to light: "Russell Hornsby [BMF actor] peeped he was high as f** on set, he started throwing up at a weapons test. Then Ian [Woolf, BMF producer] told me the little [ninja emoji] had whippets in his truck. I said, what the f*** is whippets?"
