R&B singer Brian McKnight has filed a lawsuit against fellow singer Jaguar Wright, accusing her of defamation after she made explosive claims about him on social media.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, McKnight alleges that Wright falsely accused him of abusing his ex-wife and engaging with prostitutes—allegations he firmly denies. McKnight also stated that he has no knowledge of any familial connection between Wright and his ex-wife, despite Wright’s claim that the two are cousins.

This isn’t the first time Jaguar Wright has made headlines for her controversial statements. In recent years, she has publicly accused several major figures in the music industry, including Diddy, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé. Wright has alleged that the Carters have “more victims than Diddy,” a claim that sparked widespread backlash.

Following an appearance by Wright on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Morgan issued a public apology to Jay-Z and Beyoncé after their legal team reportedly contacted the show.

McKnight’s lawsuit adds to the growing legal pressure Wright faces amid her ongoing campaign of unverified and inflammatory accusations against high-profile figures in the entertainment industry.
