Trippie Redd is speaking out against claims that he’s the "worst dad" and skipped out on a baby shower for his and Coi Leray’s first child.
Taking to social media, Trippie addressed the rumors directly, writing, "Y’all blogs be childish. My baby ain’t have no baby shower yet. You blogs [should] go run and tell everybody that; since I’m the worst dad and I don’t show up to baby showers."
He later elaborated on Twitter, claiming that he has been excluded from the upcoming event.
"And b4 the actual baby shower happens, just letting y’all know she doesn’t want me or my family there — she said hit the lawyer," he wrote. "But I’m paying for it."
Tensions between Trippie and Coi have been in the public eye for months. The drama first surfaced when Coi accused Trippie of cheating on her during her pregnancy.
"Nothing [worse] than being cheated on. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy. God bless," she wrote in a post. She later followed up with a pointed message about trusting actions over words.
"Their actions indicate that they don’t value you. When you notice this, take it for what it is. Remember, actions speak louder than words."
While both sides continue to air grievances publicly, it’s clear that their relationship remains strained as they prepare to welcome their child.
