In classic Kanye fashion, Ye stirred up controversy once again during a livestream with producer Digital Nas. Not only did he throw jabs at Boosie, but he also reignited his ongoing feud with Playboi Carti.
The tension between Ye and Carti has been simmering for over a month. It all began when Kanye claimed he was excluded from Carti’s latest album I AM MUSIC. He also accused Carti of going behind his back to get Kim Kardashian’s permission to feature their daughter North’s vocals on the project.
Although the beef hasn't played out much online, Kanye made a startling allegation during the stream: that Carti pulled up to his hotel armed.
“I got to tell you another thing that Carti said to me on the phone,” Ye said. “This n**** told me he was at the Chateau [Marmont hotel] with a gun. What that mean, n****? And the n**** say he don't be on the Internet. It's like, if you don't be on the Internet, what are we talking about, then? I ain't say nothing, then.”
As of now, Playboi Carti has not publicly responded to Kanye’s claims.
