Bobby Brown recently sat down with Shannon Sharpe, where he spoke about a myriad of topics, including his friendship with Michael Jackson.
That's when Shannon Sharpe asked Bobby who he thinks is the closest entertainer to Michael, and Bobby didn't hesitate with his answer.
"I would go with Chris Brown. Chris Brown is a dancer, singer, and great entertainer. He goes out there and he does the ultimate stuff on stage and you just have to love it."
Bobby then gave love to Usher, stating, "Usher’s also a great entertainer, but I’ve got to go with Chris on being as close to Michael as anybody could ever get."
During a 2022 interview with Big Boy, Chris reacted to the comparisons to MJ, stating, "I mean, I stay the hell up out of it. Like, I kinda back off it. My personal take on it… is like I wouldn’t even be breathing or being able to sing a song if that man didn’t exist. He’s light years ahead. There is no competing with him!"
Chris added, "People wanna compare me, but it’s the generational gap. So I’m happy they can say that. It could be a lot worse. I remember there use to be a whole different conversation about Chris Brown. I’m thankful in the regards."
