Footage of Boosie Badazz involved in a car accident in Georgia quickly spread online Monday night (April 7), sparking concern from fans of the “Set It Off” rapper.
As the video circulated, The Breakfast Club co-host Loren Larosa took to Twitter to share an update after speaking directly with Boosie’s publicist.
“I just spoke to Boosie’s publicist who confirmed to me that... BOOSIE WASN’T HURT IN THE CAR ACCIDENT today that took place in Georgia,” Larosa wrote. “Some info on the accident: Boosie was the passenger — he only went to the hospital to be sure the driver was okay.”
Larosa provided additional context, stating that Boosie was reportedly on his phone in the passenger seat at the time of the crash. “He looked up for a second and then the car was hit,” she added. “The accident happened in Georgia, not Memphis, and the car Boosie was in doesn’t belong to him — it belongs to the driver.”
As of now, Boosie has not made a public statement regarding the incident.
