Sauce Walka has spoken out for the first time following the tragic shooting that claimed the life of his artist, Sayso P, during an incident in Memphis that also left him wounded.

Taking to Instagram, Sauce Walka shared a heartfelt tribute, posting a slideshow of photos of Sayso P and expressing his deep grief over the loss. He began his message by lamenting that Sayso didn’t take his advice to stay in his hotel room that night.

"Words or tears can’t explain the loss I feel! Splatt, I wish your fat ahh listened to me and stayed in the room. I told you we could smoke that blunt after security and the rest of our familia pulled up. SOSAMAN TOLD YOU—f* that weed, wait 'til we leave and hit Superior first. You always so hardheaded, blood, but you know I’ma ride with you regardless. We come together, we leave together. Wish you had just gone to the DR with Shimmy and skipped this trip to Memphis, but you were too excited that I finally agreed to come to the M..."**

Sauce Walka reflected on the years he spent mentoring Sayso P, recalling how their bond had grown since @tsf1punch_10100 introduced him to their crew four years ago.

"Did everything I could to help you change your lifestyle—from Miami to all 50 states, we been mashing and splashing together. I learned a lot from you, young spilla, and I’m thankful for all the loyalty and support—city to city, hood to hood, with them sticks, RAP HUSTLING‼️"

He concluded his tribute by honoring Sayso P’s legacy and calling for an end to violence in the community.

"You left this earth as a RICH YOUNG BOSS. You left happy and successful, and I’ma make sure the world knows who you really are‼️ But unfortunately, most of our kings and bosses are at war with each other. I hope one day we all STOP TAKING LIVES from our communities and actually start to build better futures for our cultures. But the streets are the streets, so I accept what came with being your big brother. I love you, Splatt."
