Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have officially tied the knot. The couple confirmed their marriage during an interview on Sherri while promoting Majors’ new film, Magazine Dreams.
Majors shared an intimate moment during the interview, telling host Sherri Shepherd, “I said to Meagan yesterday, ‘Today might be the happiest day of my life. I love that woman so much.’”
In a heartfelt revelation, Majors also opened up about his proposal to Good, sharing that he sought her father’s blessing before popping the question. He recalled, “I asked her father for permission… if that was all right, and he said, ‘That’s cool.’ It was a longer conversation. It was always the plan.”
Reflecting on the wedding itself, Jonathan explained that the ceremony was a personal and meaningful event. “My mother’s a pastor, and she came from Dallas, where I’m from. We had my mom come, and she came to the L.A. screening [for Magazine Dreams]. My mother had never been to one of my screenings. We had told her that, ‘Hey, we’re gonna do this thing,’ and we did. My mother married us yesterday. Her mother was there.”
