Dr. Umar Johnson is facing serious allegations from his daughter, Anisa, who recently spoke out against him on social media. Last week, Anisa claimed that her father refused to provide information about a sibling she had recently discovered and wanted to meet.
In a series of new allegations, Anisa has now accused Dr. Umar of being physically abusive toward both her and her mother. In a TikTok video, she stated, "He put his fking hands on her. What the f is wrong with him? He should be in f**ing jail. Like, really, he should be in jail."
Beyond the abuse allegations, Anisa also called Dr. Umar a "deadbeat father," claiming he was absent for key moments in her life.
Dr. Umar has since responded to the claims in two social media posts, urging people to “pick a side.” In his statement, he said:
"Don’t let the evil take us. If you with me, you with me. If you ain’t, you ain’t. I’m not begging nobody… The only thing good coming out of this unfortunate situation is everybody gotta pick a side. Pick a side and stay on it. Please stay on your side. No more frenemies."
Additionally, Dr. Umar dismissed his daughter’s allegations, suggesting she was using his name for "clout, cash, and a come-up." He also questioned why Anisa’s mother was allowing her to “expose herself in the public this way.”
As the controversy unfolds, the allegations and responses have sparked widespread debate online.
