Elon Musk has found himself at the center of controversy after seemingly endorsing the idea of pardoning Derek Chauvin, the former police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd.

The backlash began when Musk responded to conservative commentator Ben Shapiro’s push for Chauvin’s release. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk called the idea "something to think about," sparking immediate criticism.

Among those speaking out was Migos rapper Offset, who took to Instagram to express his outrage. In a fiery Instagram Story, he wrote, "Elon Musk playing in Black folks’ faces. Crazy work smh!!!"

Offset didn’t stop there—he later doubled down in the comments of a social media post, writing, "Racist b**** playing in Black folks’ faces," before adding, "Driving Ferrari, not Tesla."

Musk has yet to respond to the backlash, but his comments have reignited debates surrounding Chauvin’s conviction and racial justice in America.
