Gervonta Davis faced criticism from the hip-hop world after walking out to his lightweight title fight against Lamont Roach Jr. alongside Dipset members Juelz Santana and Jim Jones.
Following the fight—which ended in a majority draw—some fans and commentators, including Dipset co-founder Cam'ron, weighed in on Davis' entourage, suggesting that their presence brought negative energy.
Cam’ron expressed his thoughts bluntly, stating, "When you got that type of energy, and you’re breathing that energy—when everybody’s sad and mad and depressed, trying to look happy but not really happy—it gets into you."
Adding fuel to the conversation, 50 Cent, who has had recent tensions with Jim Jones, reposted Cam'ron's remarks on social media. He took the opportunity to throw shade at Jim and Juelz, captioning the clip, "You gotta stay in good company, man. One [ninja emoji] teeth falling out, the other [ninja emoji] got a full grey beard, trying to show [ninja emoji]’s a Chrome Hearts scarf."
