Comedian Michael Blackson reminisced about his role in the film "Next Friday," revealing that some of his best moments were left on the cutting room floor. Blackson reminisced about his breakout film experience, sharing that much of his dialogue with co-star Mike Epps was improvised, with the iconic "I can't get jiggy with this" being one of the few scripted lines. Despite shooting numerous hilarious scenes, Blackson expressed disappointment with the final edit, attributing it to editors who prioritized camera angles over comedy. Blackson also shared a behind-the-scenes tidbit: although his character was not initially written as African, he brought in his dashiki and infused the role with his unique flair during the audition.
