A judge has granted Megan Thee Stallion's legal team permission to depose Tory Lanez under oath as part of their investigation into her defamation and cyberstalking lawsuit against YouTube blogger Milagro Gramz.
Milagro Gramz, a vocal supporter of Tory Lanez throughout his trial, has been accused of spreading “vicious and hateful rumors” about Megan as a “paid surrogate” for the rapper. Tory is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting Megan in both feet during a confrontation in the summer of 2020.
Milagro Gramz has denied conspiring with Tory Lanez to spread misinformation about Megan and attempted to have the case dismissed, arguing that her actions were protected under journalism. However, a judge ruled that Megan presented a “compelling case” that Milagro acted with “reckless disregard for the truth.”
During a January hearing, Megan spoke about the ongoing harassment, stating, “I haven’t been at peace since I was shot, and I’m just trying to be free from harassment—not only by the person who shot me, but by the people he’s been paying to continue harassing me. I probably won’t ever have full peace about the situation, but I just really want the harassment from the person who shot me to stop.”
