Legal journalist Meghann Cuniff is making headlines after closely covering A$AP Rocky's assault trial, which she believed he would lose. Thankfully, A$AP Rocky was acquitted on all counts in the trial after being accused of shooting his former friend, A$AP Relli, in 2021.
50 Cent followed the trial, which he posted about on Instagram, writing, "I got ASAP [beating] this case. I’ll bet 500,000 on it, that boy ASAP Tellie was just trying to get some money. Fool said I was scared for my life so I went back to the scene and picked up the shells. Officer told him hey if you want to get some money go to the hospital. Who want the bet."
Meghann responded in 50 Cent's comments, writing, "I'll take that bet," which later came back to haunt her when Rocky was acquitted. One X user told Cuniff that she'd have to pay 50 Cent after the verdict, to which she responded, "Fortunately for me and unfortunately for him, he never actually accepted!"
Despite not making an official deal, 50 Cent has been taunting Meghann to pay up, as he wrote on Instagram, "@meghanncuniff I’m a need my money by Monday. 👀"
