Rapper YFN Lucci was released from prison on Friday after pleading guilty to one count of violating Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act in 2024. Lucci was sentenced to 20 years, with 10 years to serve in prison and 10 years of probation.
YFN Lucci received support from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who penned a letter to the State Board of Pardons and Paroles advocating for his release. There were recently talks that the rapper would be coming home soon, and YFN Lucci reunited with his family on Friday.
The "Everyday We Lit" rapper shared a video on Instagram of him pulling up to a crowd of family and friends waiting on his release. He showed up in style in a Rolls Royce truck and first hugged his kids, who were overjoyed to see their father again.
YFN Lucci also hugged other family members, including his mother and father, who shed tears while hugging their son. You can watch in full above.
