On Monday (January 27), the Miami Heat announced that they are planning to suspend Jimmy Butler indefinitely without pay.

They released a statement explaining their decision, which read, "The suspension is due to a continued pattern of disregard of team rules, engaging in conduct detrimental to the team and intentionally withholding services. This includes walking out of practice earlier today."

Following the news of his indefinite suspension, Butler shared a montage from the legendary sitcom "Martin," which showcased the character Tommy, who was unemployed throughout the show. Butler tagged Kevin Love in the post, leading Love to respond with a classic clip of his own.

Kevin shared a clip of Denzel Washington's famous "King Kong" speech in 2001's "Training Day," which he captioned, "Jimmy immediately after hearing he wasn’t in the starting lineup…#haywoodhighsmithoverme???"

Love's hashtag was in response to reports that Butler left Monday's shootaround after hearing that Haywood Highsmith would start over him.
