Actor Reginald VelJohnson, who rose to fame playing Carl Winslow on "Family Matters," reacted to Dave Chappelle's monologue on "Saturday Night Live," where he spoke about Diddy's case.
Chappelle joked about the rumors surrounding Diddy, including claims that he hooked up with VelJohnson at one of his parties, stating, "Carl Winslow from Family Matters was there, and I wasn’t invited? This is worse than I thought." Chappelle then joked that he was "too ugly" to score an invite to one of the parties, adding that he was jealous of VelJohnson allegedly being there.
Now, Reginald VelJohnson has responded to Chappelle speaking about him in the monologue, and he also addressed the rumors involving Diddy. VelJohnson told The Hollywood Reporter, "The claims are completely false, but I still hear about them occasionally. Dave Chappelle made it funny, though, and I appreciate that. He kept it civil, which I really respect."
VelJohnson went on to say, "It was nice to see him mention me, even if it was tied to that ridiculous rumor. I just wish it had been about something better. Still, he made me look good, so I can’t complain."
