Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker is going viral after a video showing her flubbing the Eagles chant hit the internet. 

In the video, Mayor Parker spoke at a press conference after deeming travel to the Jan. 19, 2025, Eagles playoff game against the Los Angles Rams necessary. Parker told the crowd, "Listen we gotta do this!" She then began to lead the crowd in the Eagles' chant, which spells out their name. 

With a big smile on her face, Parker yelled, "Let me hear you all sing! E-L-G-S-E-S, Eagles!" She then yelled, "Let's Go Birds!" before stepping away from the podium.

Mayor Parker likely didn't expect that the video would go viral and inspire merchandise of her incorrect spelling of the beloved Philly football team. 

At an unrelated event in Kensington Tuesday (Jan. 21), Parker addressed the error, telling the crowd, "We don’t promise perfection, I’m so happy that I never have, especially after I couldn’t spell Eagles right."
