X-Raided talked about being released from prison after serving 26 years. Re-entering a world brimming with technological advancements and societal changes proved challenging. X-Raided candidly discussed the difficulty of re-adapting, particularly in dealing with people's lack of respect for personal space and the shift in societal norms. Following his release, X-Raided quickly returned to his musical roots, dropping "California Dreamin'" in 2018, followed by the album "The Execution of X" in 2019. His career took a significant turn in 2022 when he signed with Tech N9ne's Strange Music label. Coincidentally, on the same day he shot a high-budget music video, he received an email confirming he was officially off parole. Reflecting on his journey, X-Raided highlighted the profound difference between determinate and indeterminate sentences, emphasizing the prolonged uncertainty faced by those with life sentences.
