While speaking on the 2012 back-and-forth, Common admitted that the beef was over both of them dating Serena Williams. The Chicago legend pointed out that his relationship with Serena ended before she allegedly started dating Drake. However, Common felt like Drake had been taking shots at him. Despite the brief feud, Common said he was a fan of Drake and that the two had talked out their differences before the beef escalated.
