Yung Joc revealed that his record label pressured him to lie about being married. Joc handled questions about his marital status by quipping, "I'm single as a $2 bill," a phrase coined to maintain his image as a hip-hop bachelor. The rapper, famous for hits like "It's Goin' Down" and "I Know You See It," admitted that the deception was a marketing strategy initiated by his record label to keep him desirable to his largely female fan base. Joc believes such tactics in the music industry are standard, as certain personal information is often manipulated to maintain a particular image. However, he also acknowledged the falseness of these practices, expressing regret about the lack of authenticity in his interactions with fans.
