In this clip, DJ Vlad accused rapper DDG of altering his voice during their discussions. According to Vlad, DDG's deep voice was notably different from the one he used pre-interview, suggesting it may be a form of trolling. However, DDG contended that he changes his voice due to embarrassment and insecurity stemming from his deep natural voice for which he was bullied in his childhood. He allegedly trained himself to switch to a more “marketable” voice when required, even in routine conversations and his music. DDG revealed that this persona-shifting started around the age of 14-15 to prevent further bullying. Despite Vlad's puzzlement and even suggestion of obtaining a professional medical opinion, DDG insists that his drastic voice modulation is not a prank or abnormality but a skill forged from past adversities and professional needs.
