Boosie has agreed with Donald Trump's statement that his criminal indictments have increased his popularity among Black voters. Boosie stated that he had heard from multiple people that they felt Trump may have been unfairly targeted due to his position. Despite not voting himself, Boosie noted that several Black people he knows support Trump because they believe he benefited them financially. Boosie also credited Trump with releasing Black people from jail before discussing various films and television series.
