Part 1: Michael Corleone Blanco on His Mother Griselda Kidnapping & Killing at 10 Years Old

--------

Michael Corleone Blanco, son of infamous cartel leader Griselda Blanco, discussed the notorious Miami drug wars of the early 1980s. During this period, it's believed Griselda was responsible for up to 250 murders, a figure Michael suggested may be an understatement. He reflected on his childhood, explaining that despite attempts to shield him, violence was commonplace in his family. Michael added that unfairly, much of the blame for these brutal acts tended to fall on his mother while other male family members were also involved. He clarified a family phrase, often misinterpreted as cannibalistic, as merely indicating their savage nature. Michael also detailed the lavish lifestyle his mother cultivated, including extravagant parties and a bronze sculpture of her face in their Palm Island home - a talisman rubbed for good luck by notorious figures such as Pablo Escobar and Carlos Lehder.
