The Game weighs in on one of the most notorious rap beefs of the 2000s -- the 50 Cent versus Ja Rule feud. According to The Game, he played a part in the feud while he was part of 50 Cent's G-Unit. He suggests that 50 Cent’s sound and ability to rap melodically over powerful drum beats gave him an edge. The Game also credited 50 Cent’s fearless attitude for his victory, both for his personal conflict with 50 and for 50's beef with Ja Rule. Despite recognizing Ja Rule's consistent hit-making ability, akin to early Drake, The Game believes 50 Cent's backing from Dr. Dre and Eminem, along with his lyrical prowess and fan support, made him an unstoppable force. The Game added that while Ja Rule continues to make money on the road, 50 Cent effectively stalled the "Always on Time" rapper's momentum for a decade.
