In an unusual turn of events, YFN Lucci has taken a plea deal in a RICO case after three weeks of trial. The case was expected to last over three months, but his lawyer, Drew Findling, managed to negotiate a plea deal. Lucci pleaded guilty to being an associate in a gang-related charge, leading to a ten-year sentence with parole eligibility after one-third of the term and ten years of probation. However, the rapper got credit for the time he's already served (over three years), meaning he could be released in as little as three and a half months. According to Findling, what made this an unusual event was the inclusion of a letter from the district attorney agreeing to Lucci's release at the first available date if he behaves well - something said to have never been seen before in court.
