Over the weekend, footage surfaced from Eddie Griffin's stand-up set, where he took aim at Shannon Sharpe.

Eddie told the crowd, "Me and Katt [are] the last two that ain’t wore a dress, n***a. I called that n***a… and said, 'N***a, let’s do the 'Non-Wearing A Dress Tour.' That s***’ll be hot like a motherf***er.'" Eddie went on to speak about Shannon Sharpe, calling him "gay."

Shannon responded briefly on his episode of "Nightcap," and he told Ochocinco that his sister called him after seeing Eddie's stand-up set. He added that his sister reminded him that their grandmother told them that a lie would die and that they couldn't "fight the devil every day because you'll fight a never-ending war."

Shannon went on to say that he thinks comedians are finding out that he's hot right now, and they are using the same joke to get a rise out of him. He added that, at some point, they'll have to get back to telling real jokes. You can hear more above.
