Jameis Winston recently sat down with Dan Katz for Barstool Sports, where he was asked about his famous "eating Ws" 2017 pre-game speech when he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Winston was open about the situation while speaking to Katz, and he started off by pointing out that it started "a long, long time ago." He then explained that "my last name starts with a W, and the first four letters of my name spells out 'wins.'"
Jameis then spoke about the speech, which he said was inspired by alphabet soup, and he went on to speak about telling his teammates that they were only eating Ws that day. You can listen in full above.
