Vlad referenced a previous conversation with TK Kirkland, where he highlighted the unique status of Eddie Murphy, comparing him to other well-known comedians and describing him as on a "whole different level." Confessing that until someone becomes bigger than Eddie Murphy, then they're not a rock star. Aries Spears considers Murphy, alongside Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, and George Carlin as Mount Olympus-level comedians, distinct and distinguished from the others. His Mount Rushmore is composed of Dave Chappelle, Patrice O’Neal, Bill Burr, and Tommy Davidson. Spears added that while Eddie Murphy remains an iconic figure in comedy history, his role has changed over the years, comparing his evolution to the career progression of a sports star, being "still a legend" but not as dominant as before.
