Keenan Thompson was a guest on The Breakfast Club on Friday (February 2), where he opened up about his book, When I Was Your Age: Life Lessons, Funny Stories & Questionable Advice from a Professional Clown.
Charlamagne Tha God specifically asked Keenan about an excerpt in the book where he spoke about an accountant stealing $1.5 million from him. Charlamagne asked how that was possible, and Keenan explained that the accountant was given power of attorney because Keenan was a child working on Nickelodeon when the accountant was hired.
Keenan went on to explain that the accountant had helped out his parents with tax situations, and his mother thought she could trust him. However, Keenan explained that when over a million dollars was in front of the accountant, "he turned into a demon." Keenan later revealed that the accountant stole $1.5 million, which was his entire Nickelodeon contract. You can hear more above.
