A woman was captured on video desperately holding onto the hood of a car that was speeding away after thieves snatched her French bulldog puppy in downtown Los Angeles.
The incident occurred on January 18th when Ali Zacharias, the owner of the dog named Onyx, was enjoying her lunch at a Whole Foods on Grand Avenue and 8th Street around 2:30 p.m. While Onyx was peacefully sitting under Zacharias' chair, an unidentified woman suddenly grabbed the leash and swiftly went outside to a waiting getaway car. The shocking footage shows Zacharias clinging tightly to the hood of the suspect's vehicle as they sped away with her beloved dog.
Recalling the terrifying ordeal, Zacharias said, "It was a horrifying experience. As the car accelerated, I couldn't help but think that this might be the end for me. I genuinely believed I was about to lose my life." Watch above.
