HoneyKomb Brazy, along with two bodyguards, have been formally charged with federal gun offenses.

These charges result from a recent traffic stop on Interstate 65. Brazy, whose real name is Nashon Jones, was a passenger in a Cadillac Escalade. According to prosecutors, there was a firearm found near both Brazy and Miguel Wayne Hall. Along with that, there was another gun found near the driver, Mason Demetrius Fuller.

The indictment says all three individuals were prohibited by federal law from possessing firearms. Jones was ineligible due to previous criminal convictions, including first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, first-degree possession of marijuana, and illegal possession of weapons.

An arraignment for all three defendants has been scheduled for Wednesday in U.S. District Court. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison if convicted. However, prosecutors have indicated that Hall may face a sentencing enhancement due to his criminal record, which includes three prior convictions for separate offenses. This enhancement could result in a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
