Tristan Thompson has been handed a significant suspension by the NBA, which means he cannot participate in any upcoming games.

The league took this action after determining that Thompson had violated their anti-drug program. The Cleveland Cavaliers forward tested positive for banned substances called ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033, resulting in a 25-game ban from playing with the team.

These substances are known as performance enhancers, as they help users enhance their strength and expedite their recovery process. Thompson has yet to address the positive test results publicly.

The league has announced that his suspension will start on Wednesday, coinciding with Cleveland's match against the Milwaukee Bucks. Stay tuned for more updates.
